The Kazinga Channel is a wonderful destination for seeing wildlife whilst on a lovely cruise. Kazinga connects two lakes, Lake George on the eastern part and Lake Edward in the west.
Kazinga is a 42 kilometre channel that connects the Kasenyi plains to the splendid Ruwenzori Mountains with free flowing streams to Lake George and flows to Lake Edward.
The Kazinga Channel attracts a large number of wildlife in Queen Elizabeth National Park, including some of the largest numbers​ of hippo pods in Africa. Crocodiles, elephants, waterbuck and kob are usually seen in abundance, as is a plethora of bird life.
